This is Georgie tending to her first (and my first) baby and Jules, the Daddy climbing the bars above them. The baby is just a few hours old here.

We named this little one "Toad" after my husband's first cockatiel. This photo was taken on the baby's first day, May 22, 2005.

Now the baby is two days old in this photo, shown here with Georgie, the Mom.

Here is Mom with "The Nanny" (LulaBelle). Lula was our Animal Cops rescue bird and she is 16 yrs old.

Jules joins them in this photo here on the baby's Day 2 of life. Jules and Lula were a couple and now the three are one big happy family.

LulaBelle, their "Nanny", takes a turn at feeding one of the youngsters while Mom Georgie watches on, keeping the other baby warm meanwhile.

Pipsqueak was born 8:15pm on May 25, 2005. The sibling you see behind Mom there is only 3 days older than Pipsqueak. What a difference 3 days makes!

The two oldest are 9 days old now (Toad has the dark wings spread out) and the youngest baby is 6 days old. Everyone has their eyes open now.

6-05-05 - From (L) to (R) - Toad and Peepers (2 wks old) and Pipsqueak/Piper (12 days old).

Baby #1 - Toad, at age 15 days. Looks like he's going to be a pearl.

Baby #2 - Peepers, also 15 days old. Looks like this guy is also going to be a pearl.

Baby #3 - This is Pipsqueak (aka Piper). I'm still not certain of the mutation yet, but this little one is only 12 days old.

The babys are 4 weeks old and the youngest (in the back on the left) is 24 days old today - Father's Day, June 19, 2005.

Not only is June 19th their first day in a "adult cage" but it is also their first taste of pulverized pellets - and they LIKED them! <grin>

This is the female Pipsqueak up front and one of her brothers behind her on July 3rd. She is almost 6 weeks old here.

This is Toad on July 7th. He was the first-hatched baby here and he is 46 days old in this photo.
