Meet
"Freebie" the hamster escape artist. After going a night without
food directly following his escape, all I need to do is wait until the
next night after his escape, put his cage on the floor filled with food,
door open, and "voila" the hamster reappears the following morning all
snuggled in his nest with a full belly. Then I just shut his cage
door and he's back under the care of the humans.
